Not Enough Sex & the City

The first and last thing I remember about the Sex & the City movie is how haggard Sarah Jessica Parker & Kim Cattrall look. Sometimes no amount of Hollywood makeup can cover that up.
To be fair though, both these women appear in a lot of scenes with younger people. Take Kim Cattrall for example next to the younger Jason Lewis, who by no means is a spring chicken himself she really looks her age. And as for SJP her wrinkles are bad bad bad, I can now see why some people say she is one of the most ugly people on TV.
Other than that the movie can be summed up as a pretentious, tedious, condescending look at the lives of four ridiculously rich ageing women some of who drink a lot & have very peculiar tastes in clothes. And every now and again between the boring self centred dialogue a hardcore sex scene is thrown in.
But to be honest it still didn't feel like there was enough sex in the city to warrant using such a title, just predictable situations with corny corny conclusions. And one hot naked guy who graces the majority of those sex scenes previously mentioned.
However, there were some funny parts, the only part I can remember now though is when Kristin Davis's character Charlotte poops her pants. I do remember laughing at other parts but the movie is long and painful in some places you feel almost drained after watching it.
I don't understand who the target audience is suppose to be for this movie. If if the producers/writers were aiming for anybody above the age of sixteen, they are just plain insulting peoples intelligence. I actually felt my IQ lowering whilst watching parts of this movie.
Now I do understand fashion is suppose to be a major feature of this movie but most of the outfits were utterly ridiculous. Carrie's wardrobe would have to of been the most bizarre, and I am all for the weird and wonderful but this was not weird in a good way or wonderful, it was just a mess.
At one point Carrie is in a cream puff of a wedding dress with a bird attached to her head. I must point out that the girls do make light of this in another scene but it had no business there in the first place. A bird...I mean really.
All in all I think someone owes me the last couple of hours of my life back, this was definitely not my cup of tea or cosmo for that matter.
